Nurofen 200mg Pain Relief patch, 2 pcs.
The active substance is ibuprofen. It belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs change the body's response to pain, swelling, and fever. The therapeutic patch delivers ibuprofen locally to the sore spot continuously for 24 hours after application.
Nurofen is used for the short-term topical treatment of symptomatic pain in acute muscle strain, or
in the case of sprains following blunt injuries in the vicinity of the upper or lower limb joint
adults or adolescents from 16 years of age.
The Composition
The active substance is ibuprofen. Each treatment patch contains 200 mg ibuprofen.
Use
One treatment patch corresponds to one dose. The maximum daily dose is one treatment patch per 24 hours.
Do not use this medicine in children and adolescents under 16 years of age.
For use on intact skin only.
It is recommended to wash and dry the application site thoroughly before applying the treatment patch.
The patch can be used at any time of the day or night, but it should be removed and a new one applied at the same time the next day.
The patch is flexible and easy to apply, can be applied to or next to the joint as needed, and will not interfere with normal movement.
Do not:
- cut the patch, it must be applied whole;
- use on affected or damaged skin;
- Cover with another patch or airtight bandage.
- Wet the patch.
1. Remove the patch from the sachet by tearing/cutting along the marked line.
2. Remove the plastic film marked (A) and place the adhesive surface over the sore spot.
3. Remove the plastic film marked (B) and apply a slight stretch of the patch to the skin.
4. Remove the plastic film marked (C).
5. Apply the remaining part of the medicated patch to the skin by stretching the patch slightly.
Duration of treatment:
You should take the lowest possible dose for the shortest time needed to relieve your symptoms. Do not take this medicine for more than 5 days unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
